This guide will take you step by step through the procedure of installing.  Before proceeding to install, kindly make a backup of your current Rise installation (both files and database). This is a safety precaution and you should always do this before installing any modules or even updating the Rise CRM itself.

Basic Requirements #

  1. A working RISE CRM setup v3.5.1+
  2. PHP 7.4+
RISE CRM should be installed with a proper database prefix. Using just underscore “_” as seen in old installation is not compatible and the tables should be renamed to proper prefix. i.e _users should be replace to tbl_users . Do this for all tables. ‘tbl_’ can be another prefix of your choice but not just ‘_’

and yes, that’s all you need to get started. For subdomain, custom domain, and single database option setup, you will need:

  • MySQL user with the privilege to create/delete a database – for the single database setup option
  • Wildcard SSL – for the subdomain feature. Otherwise, you will need to handle SSL manually
  • On-demand TLS (Caddy e.t.c) – for custom domain feature. Otherwise, you will need to handle SSL manually
